The 11th of September, following the project meeting, the University of Antwerp organized a dissemination event to present the first findings of the ACCORD-Project to actors working in the educational field. In total, three researchers of the University of Antwerp and five teachers of secondary education in Flanders participated. During the event, a introduction was given into the ENACT and ACCORD projects. During this workshop, the participants discussed the content of the ACCORD tool (9 scenario’s), which was based on extensive ethnographic field observations carried out by the University of Antwerp. All scenario’s were discussed by all participants. Very interesting insights were given by the Flemish teachers about the interpretation of the scenarios, which will be taken into consideration for the future execution of the project. Finally, all participants agreed that ACCORD project could be very relevant for teachers in training and there is certainly a need to support teachers in how to handle interethnic conflicts in education.
