On March 11th 2017, in occasion of the ACCORD project kick-off meeting, the project was presented to a wide audience of teachers, principals and policy makers from the city of Naples. The event, organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples, was held at the City Hall, in the presence of the governor for Education and Integration policy of Naples, Prof. Annamaria Palmieri: the Director of the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University Federico II, Prof. Edoardo Massimilla; and Dr. Giuseppina Rita Mangione, first researcher at INDIRE (Italian national institute responsible for innovation in schools).
Participants were impressed by the innovative quality of project ideas, and excited to see the wide range of important and impactful applications of the game in schools to raise awanerss on intercultural conflict issues. Indeed teachers and pricipals expressed interest in participating and supporting the ACCORD project team in the upcoming project activities.
